DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate our Mothers at our annual \nMOTHER’S DAY LUNCH  \nat the American Czech-Slovak Club on Sunday May 12th from Noon to 4 PM.  Mothers will get a free glass of wine with their lunch! \nFeaturing: \nGoulash with Traditional Dumplings/Knedliky\, or \nChicken with Mushrooms\, or \nPasta with Veggies \nSalad and Traditional Desert \nRegistration at https://tinyurl.com/ACSCC-Easter or call 305-891-9130 \nSinger Dodo Ivaska will provide entertainment with his best known melodies. \n \nJozef Ivaška is a Slovakian opera tenor singer. He graduated from the State Conservatory of Music in Bratislava and completed his education as an opera singer in the Academy of Arts in Banska Bystrica. His first major role was Vasek in Smetana’s Bartered Bride in the State Opera in Banska Bystrica.  He has performed in a number of opera houses\, such as Grosses Festspielhaus in Salzburg\, Jugendstiltheater in Vienna\, the Amato Opera in New York and the State Opera in BanskaBystrica. He sang regular at the Isny Oper Festival in Isny\, Germany. \nHe taught music at the Children’s Czech and Slovak School in Astoria\, New York.  Jozef (Dodo)is also well known from performing for our Czech and Slovak community all around the world with his father Jozef Senior. \nLooking forward to seeing you!!!
